Greetings Dear Friends,I hope this finds you well-aligned with the extraordinary vision and spirit of bodhicitta! This month I am preparing for my OQ LIVE conversation with Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche in April by reading and contemplating his book: “Diligence: The Joyful Endeavor of the Buddhist Path,” which is a commentary on the diligence chapter from Shantideva’s, Way of the Bodhisattva. Rinpoche takes a gentle approach that clears misunderstandings that stand in the way of genuine practice. I find myself contemplating certain ideas throughout my day. I love to witness how the dharma feeds and infiltrates my life in this way - so inspiring! In a couple of weeks I will be going to India to participate in the Mangala Shri Bhuti pilgrimage, guided by Dungse Jampal Norbu. The itinerary will take us to Delhi, Bodhgaya and Varanasi, with day trips to Rajgir and Sarnath, two of the most important sites of the Buddha’s turning the Wheel of Dharma after his enlightenment. Pilgrimage is an important practice in our lineage, an expression of devotion, and a profound opportunity to make offerings. It has been a long time since I traveled to Bodhgaya and Rajghir. I have been dreaming of going back for many years now. I will share some of my experiences with you when I return through podcast episodes and photos! Love, Elizabeth
